Our team was assigned the sharpen tool to research and use. It is used to enhance photo’s quality and bring out detail that is usually lost between camera, computer, and print. The sharpen tool can be used like a brush. My team used one way to sharpen pictures. Instead of using the sharpen brush technique, which can sharpen a certain part of the picture at a time we used the sharpen filters which can sharpen a image to your liking all at once. So, what you want to do for the brushes is this: (1) Go to tool #13 and right click to get to the sharpen tool. Your mouse icon will then look like a brush and you can use it like one. (2) Go to the toolbar at the top and select your sharpen tool strength. (3) Left click the mouse and sharpen whatever you want sharpened to your liking and boom! You are done. We can use the sharpen tool to enhance some of our typography challenges. For instance, we could really add more quality to Challenge 3 and make it look more natural and real like we took the picture ourselves. We could also use the sharpen tool if we have any other projects that have to do with pictures. If we were to give any advice to the ones around us we would say “Don’t distort the photo too much because you can mess the picture up. And no one wants to start over.”
