For my gradient self-portrait I used the magic wand, gradient tool, and the brightness/contrast adjustment. The tool that I found to be most interesting was the gradient effect because it changed how the gradients were presented. The different types of effects helped my project stand out from everyone else. If I were given the opportunity to start my self-portrait over again, i Would have changed the way i was looking and add more emotion to my photo. I would like to make these changes because i feel like the position that i am showing is good, but if i were to change my body expression it would look much better.
My digital collage was meant to show my life how even though my parents aren’t together when it comes to me, they come together to support me. I used the magnetic lasso tool to take the subjects I wanted and put them on my digital collage. This project shows what I like to do and who the people in my life from my parents, to my dog, and I even love to go mudding. The people who are viewing my work should see that I wanted to show the separation of my parents and how whenever I’m involved they come together. Something that I would change in my digital collage would be my background, even though I wanted it to show what I like to do and be outdoors. I feel that I could have used a baseball field or something else.
